The Company

Our client is a UK listed, global leader in the provision of retail and associated services for some of the world's leading brands. The company continues to grow at a rapid pace and they have plans to both develop existing and emerging markets.

They are now seeking an exceptional International Financial Controller to join them as they further develop and integrate their emerging markets.

Responsibilities of your new role

As the International Financial Controller, you will join a highly focused team and collaborative culture. Your key responsibilities will include;

• Managing the financial control, reporting and financial planning and analysis for the division

• Working with the FD and CEO to help develop and implement strategic planning, setting of financial targets and delivery of robust internal reporting

• Maintain, develop and look for continual process improvements in internal control frameworks across the various countries

• Ensure effective and ongoing integration of acquired businesses into the global operating model

• Development of legal structures and management of capital requirements within emerging markets.

   

Candidate Requirements

The business seeks an International Financial Controller who demonstrates:

• ACA qualified with an impressive academic and professional background

• Likely experience either in the group finance function or in a divisional finance controller / leadership role in a high quality, blue chip environment

• A background in retail / consumer and multisite environments would be an advantage, but is not essential

• Enjoys being close to the detail and an individual who always looks to positively challenge and always looks to improve processes and provide consistency.

• You must be prepared to travel and will be eager to move to a role that will give you exceptional future opportunities for career progression on a global scale

• You will be proactive in approach and will be comfortable operating with senior colleagues in both one to one and group environments.
