Manager - Policies and Controls
Our client is a UK listed, global leader in the provision of retail and associated services for some of the world's leading brands.

The company are now seeking an exceptional Manager- Policies and Controls to be based in a new and stand alone role in Spain. Whilst working independently, you will become an integral part of the Group Finance team based in London and will join them as they further develop and integrate emerging markets and new acquisitions.
Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting in London, you will be joining a highly experienced team and collaborative culture, responsibilities will include;
- Leading and coordinating the statutory activities necessary for the company’s Spanish holding company.
- Developing and maintaining financial accounting and reporting policies across the Group.
- Providing a “centre of excellence” for financial policies and controls across the Group.
- Liaising with Legal, accounting and tax advisers to ensure all formal requirements are met.
- Performing rolling market reviews of policy compliance and sharing best practice for controls across the Group.
Potential candidates will be qualified Accountants with an excellent understanding of the financial processes, policies and procedures required in a listed, global group. This is likely to have been formed either in the group finance function or in a divisional finance role within a high quality, blue chip environment. As stated, this role is based in Spain and is a new vacancy. Due to this you must be able to work autonomously and independently, within a global matrix organisation. You must be prepared to travel and will be eager to move to a role that will give you exceptional future opportunities for career progression on a global basis. You will be proactive in approach and will be comfortable operating with senior colleagues in both one to one and group environments.
