The company provides an end to end service, heavily investing in the latest packaging equipment and technology. Customer service and Innovation is at the heart of everything ISS does as they enter into another rapid period of growth and expansion.

ISS are looking for a well-rounded, talented individual to join them as Operations Director; a high profile hands on role with both operational and customer exposure reporting to the MD.

ISS are an agile service provider with solid growth plans in place. As a result they need a highly talented individual to lead the core operational teams and continue to develop a centre of excellence.

Leading the operational teams the main responsibilities include:

• Deliver the day to day every day; ensure we deliver 12 million cases a year across 150 SKU’s with a team of 450+ colleagues operating 24/7

• Drive the planning process to ensure the business has the relevant capabilities in place.

• Engage with our customers and deliver on their expectations.

• Coach, support and develop our people to reach their full potential and effectively manage any issues within the operational teams.

• Deliver a centre of excellence in which focus is maintained even with the challenge of ever increasing scale.

• Continuous Improvement - seek out new methods to support the business goals and make us an industry leader

What they are looking for:

• A proven leader who can get the best out of teams to create an effective operation and deliver for customers and the business.

• Senior level experience Ideally gained within either a Food or FMCG focussed environment

• You will be used to fast paced, customer focussed production environments with a proven track record of delivery.

• Up to date knowledge of UK employment and health and safety legislation and best practice.

• A passion to deliver an industry leading business

• Enthusiastic, driven and flexible character who understands process rather than silo management.
